It looks like the team behind Facebook is constantly working on their Facebook app to deliver a faster and smoother experience to users. The social networking service website recently announced an update to its Android app, Facebook for Android 2.0, which is faster than ever, allowing you to open your Timeline and pictures twice as fast.
The update, available on Play Store now, is noticeably faster now. Unlike its old Android app which was a native and webview hybrid, Facebook for Android 2.0 is fully native. This means that the app will load quicker and cache information locally so it can be retrieved quicker. Facebook also added a “Stories bar” that lets you see more stories without refreshing.
