You know how iPhone plans from telcos are usually expensive and packed with a rather huge amount of data, free calls, free SMS and free MMS? Those plans are good of course, if you utilize up everything that is bundled together, but what if you are one of those lite users who rely on VoIP and free messaging services such as Whatsapp? Maxis recently introduced a new iValue Simple at only RM50 a month and it comes with 1GB of data, 200 minutes of local calls to all operators and only 100 SMS. Call charges will start from 12sen/min while SMS charges are as low as 5sen/SMS. It will come bundled with all the usual free things from Maxis such as 10GB Cloud Storage on Locker and free 2 months of OneMusic subscription.
The phone subsidy will naturally be less and the plan is only available for 12 month contract.
