Swiftkey Goes With The Flow

Swiftkey Goes With The Flow

Swiftkey has always been my replacement Android Keyboard of choice with every phone I use, so much so that it’s the ONLY paid Android app I own! Back in the day when a little app called Swype came onto the scene as a beta, it wowed people with not even having to lift your finger to type (aside from after each word that is). The problem was that after a while, you’d end up typing anyway. Well, that and that it never really made it out of Beta.

Back to Swiftkey. Out of all the keyboards we have used, Swiftkey has by far the best predictive text system and with their new take on the whole Swype technology called Flow, it looks like a winner. Granted the whole “typing may just be faster”, but the combination of a swype and the predictive text and support for swiping through a whole sentence may just make it better than that. Check out the video set to questionable dubstep for a demo. If you’re interested, you can register your interest for the Flow beta at http://www.swiftkey.net/flow
