Garmin has announced a new outdoor smartwatch for the local market. The Enduro 4 serves as the latest addition to the brand’s Enduro lineup, which focuses on battery longevity. Of course, like its older siblings, the new model comes with solar charging capabilities. Although the brand did not introduce any battery life improvements, there are some other upgrades, particularly in terms of software.
In terms of design, the device weighs 66g, making it a touch heavier than its predecessor. The 51mm watch sports a titanium bezel and a fibre-reinforced polymer case. Meanwhile, its 1.4-inch MIP display is paired with a Power Sapphire scratch-resistant lens. The wearable also comes with an LED flashlight, which offers both white and red light options. Rounding things off is a 10 ATM rating.

According to the company, the new watch comes with 50% more RAM and an upgraded map engine, allowing for easier navigation. The map interface has also been updated for smoother and more intuitive built-in routable maps. There is also a new perspective view, which offers more information on the landscape.
Among the device’s new features are the grade-adjusted pace-based workout targets and grade-adjusted rolling pace. Both of these tools account for terrain changes, so athletes can plan their training accordingly. Furthermore, stamina zones and stamina curve provide insights on the wearer’s endurance. Other than that, the watch gets enhanced rowing tools that offer VO2 max data, as well as expanded rucking features that let users adjust pack weight.
Another new addition is Garmin Epic. This feature lets users combine multiple activities in a given time into one cohesive story in Garmin Connect. Users can view health and performance data throughout this period, as well as add photos and share the Epic with others.
As mentioned earlier, battery life remains the same, with the watch lasting a maximum of 320 hours in GPS mode. In typical smartwatch mode, wearers can expect a 90-day battery life. Of course, these figures are with solar charging thrown in the mix. Other highlights of the watch include over 100 activity profiles, comprehensive power modes, and 64GB of storage.

In Malaysia, the Garmin Enduro 4 has a suggested retail price of RM3,899. That said, the watch will only be available here starting from the end of the month, 30 October 2026. From that day onwards, customers will be able to purchase it through Garmin’s official online platforms, including Shopee and Lazada. Alternatively, prospective buyers may swing by the AECO e-store, the brand’s physical stores, or its authorised retailers.
