Earlier in the month, Anker announced a number of charging and audio products as part of its IFA lineup. These include the AeroClip 2 which, like the other products shown off at the time, was powered by the brand’s Thus AI chip. Today, the company has announced that the AeroClip 2 will be launching on our shores on 28 September. It also announced that the new earbuds will be available for pre-order five days ahead of its launch.
Unfortunately, Anker has not shared much about the AeroClip 2 beyond what it already revealed back at IFA. But in case you missed it, the AeroClip 2 is a pair of open-ear slip-on earbuds that feature “an upgraded open-ear experience”. Not exactly something that’s quantifiable, but the company says this means enhanced wearing comfort and sound quality.

For its microphones, the Anker AeroClip 2 has four of what the company calls high signal to noise ratio (SNR) MEMS microphones, as well as two voice pickup units that detect vibrations transmitted through the wearer’s body. The company has since clarified that these are essentially bone-conduction microphones. Put all of these together, and the result is clearer calls and reduced surrounding noise. The brand even claims that the voice clarity on these “is currently being put forward for Guinness World Records recognition”, signalling the confidence of the tech within these pair of open-ear wireless earbuds.
As mentioned earlier, the Anker AeroClip 2 is being launched on 28 September, with pre-orders opening on 24 September instead, via Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop. The company is not revealing the price of the wireless earbuds yet, and is keeping those close to its chest until launch day. Instead, it claims that it’s adding a new Burgundy Red colourway for the Malaysian market to complement the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max , but these were already on display at IFA,
