Razorpay Curlec has announced that it has integrated a DuitNow Pay option into its online checkout in Malaysia. This allows local businesses using Curlec to let their customers pay through different banks and e-wallets from a single, unified payment screen.
According to the official press release, the company says the integration “unifies online banking and e-wallets into a single, standardised checkout. For Malaysian businesses, that means fewer drop-offs and faster, more secure conversions.” The company also says it will be one of the first few Payments Network Malaysia (PayNet) participants to offer the service to local businesses.

The document further notes that, in practice, consumers can select DuitNow Pay from the integrated payment list when they arrive at a merchant’s checkout page. They can then search for and select their preferred bank using the search box, which filters the available options based on their input.
Once a bank has been selected, users will be redirected to the secure PayBank login portal to enter their credentials before approving the authentication through their bank’s native mobile app. After the authorisation is successful, they will be automatically redirected back to the merchant’s checkout page.
The integration also brings payments from current and savings accounts, credit lines, and e-wallets into a single checkout entry point. Customers also do not need to enter sensitive card details at checkout. Razorpay Curlec says that as PayNet expands the DuitNow Pay platform, businesses using the integration will automatically receive future upgrades.

Coinciding with the launch, Razorpay Curlec also announced plans to add more DuitNow Pay features in the future. These include saved payments, recurring payment support for subscriptions, instalments, and scheduled billing. According to the company, businesses only need to enable DuitNow Pay through the Razorpay Curlec plug-in once to receive future updates automatically. However, it did not provide a timeline for when these features will become available in Malaysia.
Once again, the specified feature is now available within the country. Local enterprises can now activate this capability via the Razorpay Curlec platform to gain immediate access.
