Last week, TechLife promised the launch of the Pad Plus 12-inch LTE on 30 October. As promised, the tablet has now official in the local market. And with that, we know what the tablet has to offer in its local incarnation. But availability doesn’t start immediately though.
Of course, thanks to the name, we didn’t need the launch to know that the TechLife Pad Plus 12 will have a 12-inch display. The brand notes that is has a 2K display, later describing it as providing “Full HD+ clarity”, indicating which kind of 2K it actually is. The brain of the device is a MediaTek Helio G91, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space.
Powering the TechLife Pad Plus 12 is a 8,000 mAh battery that supports 18W charging and 5W reverse charging. The company claims that this gives the tablet 12.7 hours of music playback, or three hours of video playback at max brightness. For your camera needs, the tablet has a 13MP main and a 8MP front-facing camera. On the software side of things, it packs Android 15 with the TechLife Pad UI overlaid on top.
With the official launch of the TechLife Pad Plus 12 comes the official price tag of RM799. As mentioned, you can’t buy it right now. Instead, the company has set availability to start on 31 October. Some free gifts are thrown in, but these will differ depending on whether you get them off shelves or off an online store. And on that note, you can get it via the brand’s store off of Lazada, Shopee and TikTok Shop.
