Secretlab Launches New Magnus Evo Desk; Starts From RM2,699

Featuring a revamped rear and streamlined aesthetic.

Secretlab officially added a new piece of techware furniture to its Magnus lineup in the form of the Evo Sit-to-Stand desk. The desk is essentially a reengineering of the original desk, and features a more streamlined design and aesthetic.

As a start, the rear of the new Magnus Evo desk is now a full-sized piece of steel, the length of the desk. This design now enables owners of the desk to better secure their loose cable via the company’s magnetic cable anchors that are running up from the cable tray beneath.

Speaking of cable trays, the one underneath the new Magnus Evo desk is now nestled underneath the centre, rather than the length of the desk. Secretlab calls this a “reimagined” tray, one that is capable of opening up at a 30° angle, without anything falling out. Additionally, a built-in tactile magnetic closure allows for one-handed opening and closing, with a snap indicating when the tray is secured. The tray has a 10mm clearance from walls, to prevent any unwanted knocks and scratches.

The top of the desk now features an ultra-matte laminate finish that Secretlab says gives a “silkier” and smoother touch across the surface. Basically, they’re saying that gliding your mouse across it should produce less friction.

Besides that, you get the same world-class features introduced with the previous Magnus Evo desks, including adjustable height, Secretlab’s proprietary integrated power supply column, and the option of two sizes: standard and XL.

Pricing for the new Secretlab Magnus Evo desk starts from RM2,699.
