The Starlink Mini kit has officially arrived in Malaysia and is already being listed by authorised local dealers such as iTworld, Senheng, Gloo, and PC Image. Priced at RM930, the Mini is positioned as a more affordable and portable option compared to the Starlink Standard V4 kit, which currently retails for RM1,600.
First introduced in select markets last year, the Starlink Mini features a compact receiver measuring 430 x 334 x 79 mm, making it significantly smaller than the existing model. It also integrates a built-in Wi-Fi router, requires less power to operate, and supports DC power input for added versatility.

Despite its reduced size, the kit is capable of delivering download speeds of over 100Mbps, which should be sufficient for general internet use. According to Starlink, the Mini can withstand extreme operating conditions, from -30°C up to 50°C, making it suitable for outdoor and remote deployments.
It is worth noting that the purchase of the Starlink Mini kit does not include an active internet subscription, which must be signed up for separately. The Starlink Residential plan is currently priced from RM129 per month, with a promotional offer that provides RM1,200 worth of free service credit.

This promotion effectively gives new users up to five months of complimentary service, though customers are advised to review the terms and conditions before committing. For those seeking alternative options, the Starlink Business plan starts from RM217 per month, while the Starlink Roam plan, aimed at frequent travellers and campers, begins at RM220 per month.
