In conjunction with the launch of the rear-wheel drive (RWD) Cyberster, MG Motor Malaysia announced an exclusive MG Cyberster Test Drive Weekend. The event is hosted by 25 authorised MG dealerships, including MG Motor Old Klang Road (Riewa Motors Sdn Bhd), on 19 and 20 July from 10am to 5pm.
During the event, the public will have the opportunity to test drive both the RWD and AWD variants of the MG Cyberster. Customers who place a booking at the event will receive a complimentary one-year unlimited charging package with JomCharge (featuring AutoCharge functionality), a 7kW Wallbox AC Charger, an exclusive limited-edition MG Cyberster diecast model, and additional special giveaways.
To recap, the MG Cyberster AWD was launched in December last year for a price of RM319,900, while the RWD variant debuted just a few weeks ago at RM299,900. Both variants of the roadster share the same design elements, in terms of the exterior and interior, except for the wheel size.
However, the RWD comes with a single motor producing 340PS and 475Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the AWD has a dual motor setup with an output of 544PS and 725Nm. Both trims come with a 77kWh battery, with a WLTP range of 508km and 444km respectively.
In addition to the Cyberster, several other MG models will be available for test drives during the event, including the MG S5 EV, MG5, MG4, and MG HS. Visitors can also take part in the MG Cyberster Workshop.
