Maybank has announced that the Classic Maybank2u site will no longer be accessible for individual customers starting 9 June 2025. Users have been advised to access all online banking services through the current Maybank2u site instead.
While the site will go offline on 9 June, the online services will be made unavailable sooner. According to the bank, the following services will be discontinued on these dates:
- Third-Party Account Transfer service – 12 May 2025
- Interbank Fund Transfer service – 19 May 2025
To continue using the bank’s online services, users must switch to the current Maybank2u website, which has been upgraded to include additional features, enhanced security, and a simplified design to ensure a safer and more user-friendly banking experience. Users can still use their existing usernames and passwords to access the site, and any scheduled or recurring payments that have been previously set up will continue as normal.
It is worth noting that this change only applies for individual users. Maybank2u Biz customers can still access the Classic Maybank2u site to conduct their transactions.
