Along its new 14 mid-range lineup, realme has also introduced two new pairs of earbuds to the local market, namely the Buds Air7 and the Buds T200 Lite. Only the former gets active noise cancellation but both models can be considered budget earbuds with wallet-friendly price tags.
The Buds Air7 is fitted with 12.4mm drivers with ANC that it claims can reduce noise by up 52dB. For sound quality, the buds support hi-res audio via the LHDC 5.0 codec and Bluetooth 5.4. Other features include dual-connection, a low-latency mode, Swift Pair support, and spatial audio.
When it comes to the battery life, it offers some staggering numbers, with realme claiming that the Buds Air7 can last up to 7.5 hours on a single charge with ANC enabled and up to 13 hours without. Combined with the charging case, the earbuds offer a total of 52 hours of playback when ANC is disabled and 30 hours with the feature turned on. For protection, it comes with an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance.
Next up is the more affordable Buds T200 Lite, which is equipped with 12mm drivers and call noise cancellation. Also fitted with Bluetooth 5.4, the earbuds support dual-connection and a low-latency mode, along with an IPX4 rating for water resistance. As for playback time, the Lite can last seven hours on a single charge, with a total usage time of 48 hours when combined with the case.
The Buds Air7 gets a retail price of RM299 while the Buds T200 Lite costs RM119. Available through the brand’s Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop stores, you can get them at discounted prices of RM249 and RM79 respectively from 15 to 30 April 2025.
