Following the release of the realme 14x back in January, the company has announced that it will be launching the remaining members of the series on 15 April. As promised, the realme 14 and 14 Pro have now been officially launched for the Malaysian market.
The official launch also confirms the specs for both phones. Starting with the base model, the realme 14 comes with a 6.67-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and between 180Hz and 1,500Hz touch sampling rate. Inside, it runs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4, a choice of 8GB or 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, a 6,000 mAh battery with 45W charging.
For imaging, the phone has a 50MP camera at the back,with a 16MP shooter in front. On the software side of things, it runs realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15.
As for the Pro model, this has a 6.77-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. Inside, it runs a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy, 12GB of RAM and a choice between 256GB or 512GB of storage space. It has effectively an identical battery to the base model and front camera, though the rear camera is a slightly different 50MP shooter. Probably worth mentioning is that both models come with an IP69 rating.
The realme 14 costs RM1,199 for the model with 8GB of RAM, and RM1,299 for the one with 12GB. The former, according to the brand, is exclusive to telcopartners and e-commerce platforms. The latter is available on shelves and online.
As fo the Pro model, RM1,499 gets you the one with 256GB storage, while the one with 512GB of storage space costs RM1,799. This time it’s the latter that’s tied to telcos and e-commerce platforms.
