Max, a streaming service by Warner Bros. Discovery, will offer a cheaper mobile plan through TM’s Unifi. The platform revealed its upcoming pricing last month, but it left out the pricing for its mobile plan, which will be exclusively available through select providers.

While no announcement has been made yet, we found an updated FAQ document revealing that Unifi will be one of those providers. The document states that the mobile plan for Max, which limits streaming to a single smartphone or tablet at 720p with a download limit of 15, will be offered as an add-on subscription for RM13.60/month for Unifi TV Pack and Home subscribers.

Moreover, the Standard and Ultimate plans will be offered at discounted rates of RM24.90/month and RM34.90/month respectively. For reference, the Standard plan will cost RM34.90/month or RM279.90/year if you subscribe directly through Max, while the Ultimate plan will set you back RM52.90/month or RM424.90/year.

Max is set to launch in Malaysia on 19 November and it will be replacing HBO GO. With this transition, HBO GO customers will be able to log into the new streaming service using their existing login info. The price remains the same if you subscribed to HBO GO directly, but if you subscribed through a service provider, then any price changes will depend on your specific provider.

Customers subscribed to TV Packs bundled with HBO GO are entitled to three free months of the Max Ultimate plan before being reverted to the Standard plan, but it must be activated before 19 November. For those who subscribe to the TV Pack after this deadline, you will get the Standard plan, but you can upgrade to the Ultimate plan for an additional RM10/month.
