U Mobile has rolled out a new upgrade for its U Postpaid 68 plan, increasing the data quota by a whopping 200GB.  According to the telco’s FAQ, the upgrade started from 23 October 2024 onwards, providing new and existing customers under the subscription with 500GB of 4G+5G data.

This is the second data increase for the plan this year. Back in January, the carrier doubled the data allowance of the U Postpaid 38 plan and raised the quota of U Postpaid 68 from 200GB to 300GB, meaning that this new increase is even larger than last time.

In case you’re not familiar with the plan, U Postpaid 68 costs RM68/month and aside from the 500GB of data, you can also use that allocation for hotspot and share it with up to two supplementary lines that will set you back RM38/month each. Additionally, the plan offers unlimited domestic calls as well as free roaming in Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand. You can even receive incoming calls from those three countries for free.

If you don’t need that much data and want to save money, you could also consider the U Postpaid 38 plan that only costs RM38/month. It gets you 120GB of 4G+5G data and hotspot, along with unlimited domestic calls.
