CelcomDigi seems to have quietly updated its roaming pass offerings to include a wider variety of validity periods, as well as increasing the price and speeds of existing passes. Adding on to that, the world-wide multi-country roaming pass now covers 76 countries, up from 57.
Just to recap on the previous roaming pass, the carrier offered a 30-day roaming pass for RM98, which allowed you to use 2GB of daily high-speed data and 1Mbps unlimited data across all the countries it covers within this validity period. There was also a three-day pass for RM25 and a seven-day pass for RM58, but these passes only covered select Asian countries.
The new worldwide multi-country pass starts from RM48 for a three-day pass and RM58 for a seven-day pass, which come with 2GB of daily high-speed data, unlimited data limited to 1Mbps after the daily quota is used up, and 15 minutes of voice calls. If you are only planning to visit Singapore, Indonesia, or Thailand, you can get a three-day pass that covers these three countries for only RM28, which is packaged with 4GB of data and 15 mins of phone calls.
For those who are planning longer trips, you can a 14-day pass for RM98 while the 30-day pass has gone up to RM118, with both passes offering a higher daily quota of 3GB.
