Shopee has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with several logistics providers including BEST Inc Malaysia (BEST Express), City-Link Express, Flash Express, GDEX, Ninja Van Malaysia, and SPX Express. This collaboration aims to enhance delivery services across Malaysia, supporting the e-commerce platform’s On-Time Guarantee programme, ensuring timely deliveries for improved customer satisfaction.
Shopee Malaysia director Cheng Xun Chua emphasised the company’s dedication to improving e-commerce accessibility through partnerships with leading logistics players. The platform’s On-Time Guarantee programme reflects this commitment, especially with the year-end festive season approaching.
Meanwhile, representatives from Shopee’s logistics partners, such as Ronald Tan of City-Link Express and Chong Hui Chuen of GDEX, expressed optimism about the collaboration. They noted that the partnership strengthens their ability to provide faster and more efficient delivery services nationwide, enhancing the overall logistics ecosystem in Malaysia.
For the uninitiated, Shopee’s On-Time Guarantee program ensures that 95% of orders are delivered within the promised time frame. Failing to fulfil this promise will entitle users to receive a RM5 voucher. With help from its logistics partners, Shopee says it is gearing up to handle increased order volumes for the upcoming year-end festive season, providing both consumers and sellers with the necessary support to succeed in a competitive market.
