Microsoft recently launched its Designer app that’s now accessible to all users. The platform itself can now be utilised as an AI-powered image generator. With access to over 80 different languages, the program can now be downloaded as a mobile app on both iOS and Android.

As a quick primer, Designer lets you create a completely new visual using AI or enhance and edit an existing image. It offers numerous templates to assist in creating various types of images such as smartphone wallpapers, profile avatars, greeting cards, or pretty much any visual you can think of.

Experienced Microsoft users will also have the flexibility to design anything from scratch, where you can create your own unique template and utilise it for your own artwork. More importantly, Designer functions independently.

Images can also easily be linked to Microsoft Word and PowerPoint projects, however, you can only take full advantage of that if you have a Copilot Pro subscription. That way, you can use Copilot and OpenAI tools to create any kind of visual you desire that works with your documents or presentations.

And if you’ve used Canva before, Designer will feel just as similar with its approach on user-friendliness but this time adding iOS and Android apps, as well as AI tools. Being integrated with OpenAI’s image generator “DALL-E”, the application can also sync up with “ChatGPT 4 Turbo” if ever necessary.
