Starlink is now offering a 50% discount on its standard kit for new signups to its satellite based high-speed internet service until 14 June 2024. Originally priced at RM2,300, the hardware now costs at RM1,150 throughout this promotion.

Keep in mind that this discount only applies to the Standard Actuated kit, while its Flat High Performance kit remains at RM11,613. The latter is recommended for business and enterprise applications as well as at sea usage, though Starlink’s website suggests that the high-end kit is not available in Malaysia for the time being.

Meanwhile, the monthly subscription fees for the various Starlink plans are unchanged. To recap, these include the Residential package at RM220/month, the Roam package at RM700/month for regional and RM940/month for global, and finally the Boats package at RM1,172/month for 50GB, RM4,689/month for 1TB and RM23,447/month for 5TB.

Based on their separate announcements on social media, local authorised resellers including Senheng, PC Image, SenQ, as well as SNS Network (GLOO and ITWorld) are also offering the same discount. MEASAT and Redtone, however, aren’t running the promo at this time. Additionally, it should be noted that – unlike via Starlink’s official website – the 50% discount offered by the aforementioned resellers is slated to end at a much later date, specifically on 15 June 2024.
