ZTE has announced that its latest entry-level smartphone, the Blade A54, is set to arrive in Malaysia. It’s one of the brand’s most affordable smartphones in the local market and it’s even got a smaller price tag than some of its predecessors in the Blade series such as the Blade A52.

The Blade A54 sports a large 6.6-inch 720p display with a tear-drop notch on top housing the front camera. Not much is known about the phone since the company listed only a few key specs in its announcement post and it’s not listed on any of ZTE’s websites, but we do know that it’s powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 4GB of RAM and that it has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 13MP main camera, and a microSD card slot for storage expansion.

We did find the Blade A54 listed on Lazada Thailand, although the specs for the Malaysian version could be different and we’ll only know once it’s listed on the company’s online stores. Based on the Thai model, the device will be equipped with 128GB of internal storage, 10W charging, a 5MP front camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and will run on a Unisoc Tiger T606 chipset.
