TM today has revealed a major update to its Unifi fibre broadband plans for both consumers and businesses. Effective today, the service provider will now offer plans starting from 100Mbps, while pricing for each subsequent package has been revised to be more affordable. Additionally, it also introduced separate 1Gbps and 2Gbps plans, as well as an all-new Unifi Fibre + Mobile package.
For consumers, the revised Unifi packages now start from 100Mbps at RM99 per month, which is followed by 300Mbps at RM139/month, 500Mbps at RM159/month, 1Gbps at RM289/month, and 2Gbps at RM319/month. It is worth noting that the latter two are now available separately and no longer require customers to also sign up for TM’s Unifi TV plans. To commemorate the revised pricing, TM is offering the 100Mbps Unifi plan at a discounted price of only RM89/month for a limited time.
Meanwhile, business-based customers can now enjoy 100Mbps speeds at only RM129 per month, 300Mbps at RM249/month, 500Mbps at RM299/month, 1Gbps at RM319/month, and 2Gbps at RM369/month. TM notes that each plan also comes with a free voice plan and premium support. And much like for consumers, those subscribing to the 100Mbps business-based line are also treated with a special limited-time discount of only RM99/month.
Concerning existing customers, TM says it will provide a free speed upgrade to all of its existing fibre plans as a thank you for their continued support. With this, those on the 30Mbps package will see an upgrade to 100Mbps, while those on 100Mbps get a boost of 300Mbps, and so on and so forth.
These changes are expected to come into effect within three months, and users will be notified by the company when the upgrades are implemented. TM adds that existing customers may choose to subscribe to a different speed plan if they so wish, provided that their current contract period has been fulfilled. On that note, do keep in mind that Unifi’s 30Mbps and 800Mbps packages have been discontinued after this revision.
Next, we have the newly introduced Unifi Fibre + Mobile package which offers users with a 100Mbps fibre line, an unlimited 4G + 5G Unifi mobile data plan, and a free 5G smartphone at only RM149/month. On top of this, TM notes that it will continue to offer its RM69/month Rahmah Unifi 30Mbps Package to the B40 community, the disabled, the elderly and veterans.
Last but not least, today’s announcement also saw TM promising to continue its commitment to deliver meaningful and accessible customer experiences alongside its unique product offerings. These include assisting customers 24-hours via its Unifi Elite team, myUnifi app, call centres and so on.
