The vivo V29 has finally launched in Malaysia, just a few weeks after it was unveiled. It’s a mid-range smartphone with a colourful design and it comes with an aura ring light on the back that lets you adjust the colour temperature of the lighting.
For the display, it sports a 6.78-inch 2800×1260 curved AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,300 nits. Under the hood, it runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. Connectivity-wise, it supports Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC.
On the photography side, the rear camera setup of the V29 is made up of a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a depth sensor, while the front cutout contains a 50MP selfie shooter with autofocus. Powering the phone is a 4,600mAh battery with support for 80W charging.
The V29 comes in black and purple colour options, retailing from RM1,899 for the base 12GB+256GB model while the 512GB variant costs RM2,099. It can be purchased through the brand’s official Shopee and Lazada pages. For the first 10 buyers of the 512GB model, they will get a RM200 Touch ‘n Go cashback and other free gifts.
