HP has announced the Spectre Fold, its first foldable laptop that it claims is the thinnest and smallest in its category. It weighs 1.354kg without its keyboard and costs significantly more than its competitors such as the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold and the ASUS Zenbook 17 Fold.

Unfolded in tablet mode or propped up using its built-in kickstand, the Spectre Fold sports a 4:3 17-inch OLED touch display with a 2.5K resolution with a peak brightness of 500 nits and IMAX Enhanced certification. Folded at 90-degrees and paired with the Bluetooth keyboard, it becomes a 12.3-inch laptop.
