Following the big Unpacked event and the launch of the flagship Galaxy S23 trio, it”s safe to expect Samsung to be lining up the next entries into the Galaxy A series. A leak indicates that it will indeed be the case, with a specific announcement date as well.

Serial leakster Steve H.McFly, or better known as OnLeaks, shared on twitter both the Samsung Galaxy A34 and A54 will be officially unveiled on 15 March. While he says that he isn’t 100% sure about this, he says that it comes from “a quite reliable source” within the company itself. This would give the claim credence, barring internal changes in date.

The official unveiling being only two weeks away isn’t too surprising too. Based on the launch from last year, it’s about the right time for Samsung to be announcing this year’s Galaxy A devices anyway. Though as before there may be a gap between announcement and actual availability.

Beyond precedence, one of the phones has also been leaked considerably. Specifically, MySmartPrice has seen the Samsung Galaxy A54 being listed on Google Play Console. This has revealed that it will be running a Full HD+ screen, an Exynos 1380 chipset, 6GB of RAM, and will be running Android 13 out of the box.

91Mobiles goes a step further and claims that the screen on the Samsung Galaxy A54 will measure 6.4 inches across with a 120Hz refresh rate, and that the phone will have 256GB of storage space, a 5000mAh Battery, a 50MP main camera and a 32MP front-facing shooter. As for the A34, the outlet claims that it will have a 6.6-inch Full HD+ display, also with 120Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, a 5000mAh battery, a 48MP main and a 13MP secondary camera.

One notable member that’s missing from the lineup would have been the sequel to the Samsung Galaxy A73. According to Dutch outlet Galaxy Club, what would have been the A74 is not even in production, spelling the discontinuation of the line.

OK… I won't vouch this one by 100% but I heard from a quite reliable source that #Samsung will officially unveil the #GalaxyA34 and #GalaxyA54 on March 15th… pic.twitter.com/eoidRjCRMS

Naturally, take all these with a pinch of salt as you would any other leak. It won’t be that long before we find out if the 15 March date is accurate.
