MYAirline Giving Away 10,000 Free Flight Seats

Newly-launched low-cost carrier MYAirline has launched a new promotion that offers 10,000 free seats to customers who can get them quickly enough. Available for a limited time, the RM0 seats can be booked only between 12 to 14 January 2023 with a travel period from now until 31 July 2023.

The promo applies to all the airline’s routes, covering KL, Langkawi, Penang, Kota Bharu, Kuching, Miri, Sibu, Tawau, and Kota Kinabalu. That being said, MYAirline has not started covering all of those destinations just yet, with some only being available after certain dates.

Such flights are as below:

• Kuala Lumpur – Sibu: 18 January 2023.
• Kuala Lumpur – Tawau: 21 January 2023.
• Kuala Lumpur – Miri: 1 March 2023.

Keep in mind that while the one-way seats themselves are free but the promo does not include airport taxes, fuel surcharge, regulatory service charges, and any other applicable fees. The RM0 seats are also not available during school holidays, the eve of any public holidays, public holidays, and festive seasons.

If you are somehow not able to snag one of the 10,000 free seats before they run out, the company is concurrently running another promo that ends on 14 January with the same travel period. Under this particular deal, flights to one of its Peninsula destinations will start from RM25 for a one-way fare while routes to East Malaysia start from RM31.

For those who miss the campaign entirely, MYAirline has been running another separate campaign that was launched earlier this week which will end on 19 January. Under the MY GREAT SALE promo, one-way flights to Kota Bharu, Langkawi, and Penang start from RM49, RM89 to Kuching and Sibu, RM99 to Miri, and RM129 to Kota Kinabalu and Tawau.

The travel period for the MY GREAT SALE seats is from 26 March to 31 July 2023, so this is not for those who want to travel immediately. Last month, MYAirline CEO Rayner Teo revealed that the airline would eventually offer flights to Miri, Alor Setar, and Terengganu, but aside from Miri, it has not revealed the start date for the two other destinations.
