Xiaomi Malaysia is currently having a special promotion, offering two of its smart TVs line-ups at discounted prices starting from RM 699. These include the Mi TV P1 and the more recent Xiaomi TV A2 FHD, though keep in mind that the discounts only apply to select models from either series.
As a refresher, Xiaomi launched the Mi TV P1 series for the local market back in May last year, which consists of three display sizes: 32, 43, and 55-inches. However, the 43-inch model is not included as part of this new promotion.
Specs-wise, The 32-inch Mi TV P1 features a 1366 x 760 pixels HD display, and is powered by a MediaTek MSD6683 chip with 1.5 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. The larger 55-inch version, on the other hand, comes with a 4K UHD display with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support, as well as a MediaTek MT9611 chip with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage. Both models feature a pair of 10 W speakers with Dolby Audio and DTS-HD enhancements, Android TV (version 9 on the 32-inch, and 10 on the 55-inch), Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, three HDMI ports, two USB 2.0, an Ethernet port, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Meanwhile, the newer Xiaomi TV A2 series officially debuted in Malaysia just last month, and is offered in 32, 43, and 58-inch sizes. Ironically, the company is only offering the 43-inch model from the line-up for this special promotion. So if you’re looking for something in between the two Mi TV P1 sizes from before, you have this model to consider instead.
The 43-inch Xiaomi TV A2 sports a Full HD panel, which has a refresh rate of 60 Hz. Under its hood is a Cortex A55 quad-core CPU with a Mali G31 MP2 GPU, as well as 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. Also onboard are a pair of 12 W speakers with Dolby Audio and DTS-HD support, Android TV 10, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, three HDMI ports, two USB 2.0, an Ethernet port, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Xiaomi is offering the 32-inch Mi TV P1 at RM 699, the 55-inch model at RM 1,699, while the 43-inch Xiaomi TV A2 FHD is priced at RM 999. However, keep in mind that these discounted prices only apply to purchases made at its physical stores across Malaysia. The company did not state how long this special promotion will be running for.
