Acer has recently announced several new monitors for the Malaysian market with one of them being the Predator X28. Equipped with an Agile-Splendor IPS panel, this 28-inch 4K gaming monitor also has a native refresh rate of 144Hz that can be overclocked further to 152Hz.
The Predator X28 also comes standard with an NVIDIA G-Sync module and supports the NVIDIA Reflex Latency Analyzer feature which works together with the NVIDIA GeForce Experience software to allow gamers to measure and see their system latency in real-time.
In addition to that, the monitor also has the G-Sync Esports Mode that gamers can use to deactivate the monitor’s variable backlight which can help further reduce latency as well as provide optimum black and gamma levels. The Predator X28 is also a DisplayHDR 400-certified monitor with DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage of 90% and a Delta E value of under two.
The monitor could also automatically adjust its brightness and colour temperature with the help of its Lightsense and Colorsense sensors. At the same time, users also have the choice to enable the monitor’s Proxisense sensor which would automatically turn on the Predator X28 once it detects their presence.
As for its price tag, the Predator X28 is now readily available for RM3,699 through Acer eStore and authorised retailers all over Malaysia. If you are planning to get your hands on this monitor within this month, don’t forget to claim the RM250 TNG eWallet credit from Acer Malaysia which the company is giving away in conjunction with Sinar Raya with Acer campaign.
