One of the biggest appeal of playing Hitman 3 on the PS4 was its VR mode, via the PS VR headset. But it looks like that won’t be the case next year. The developers at IO Interactive have announced that, among other things, it is bringing the ability to play the game in VR that will also be coming to PC.
The feature is being added as part of the Hitman 3 Year 2 content roadmap. Other things coming to the PC version of the game includes ray tracing and a new Elusive Target Arcade game mode. These are coming in January 2022, with more details on each coming within the month itself.
We're excited to announce that HITMAN 3 – Year 2 starts on 20 January 2022.

IO Interactive has more for Hitman 3 slated for a little later, in spring 2022, which is between late March and late June. For now, the studio is keeping this very close to its chest, so we’ll just have to wait until it is ready to share more. There’s also new maps and storylines coming, but from the looks of it these are scheduled for later in 2022.
For those who play Hitman 3 on PC and wanted to experience the once PS4-exclusive mode, this is good news. Of course, this is assuming you already have a VR headset.
