Originally launched at CES 2021, ASUS has recently announced the official availability of the 14-inch portable touch display under its ProArt Display series in Malaysia. Weighing at just 740 grams, the monitor is also known as the PA148CTV and it is apparently the world’s first Calman Verified portable monitor.

The certification does not really come as a surprise though as the ASUS ProArt devices are meant for creative professionals and of course, the same thought also applies to the new portable display. Equipped with a Full HD IPS anti-glare touch panel, the PA148CTV has 100% coverage of sRGB and Rec. 709 colour gamut coverage together with a Delta E value of under two for colour accuracy.

The portable monitor is also equipped with ASUS Dial on its left side which allows users to make quick adjustments to their work. ASUS pointed out that the dial currently supports selected Adobe software including Photoshop, Lightroom Classic, Premiere Pro, and After Effect while it is also compatible with applications that can support Microsoft Surface Dial.

Just like Microsoft Surface products, the ProArt portable monitor is also equipped with its own kickstand. In terms of I/O, it has a micro HDMI port alongside two USB-C ports which support DisplayPort Alt Mode while there is also a pair of 1W audio speakers and a tripod socket.

Pricewise, the new ASUS ProArt PA148CTV portable monitor is now readily available in Malaysia for RM1,888. That being said, we do recommend you to check with your favourite retailer as we noticed that some are actually selling it for less than RM1,800 right now on Lazada and Shopee.
