The Xperia 10 III has been listed on Sony Malaysia’s website for over a month now, revealing a retail price of RM1,999 but with no way for customers to book it. That is, until now.
The brand has recently revealed through Facebook that its new mid-range smartphone is now ready for pre-order from today until 20 September 2021. And as a special promotion during this period, Sony is also offering a pair of WI-C310 wireless in-ear headphones to those placing their orders, completely free of charge. Sure, it’s not as fancy as the pre-order reward for the higher-end Xperia 1 III, but hey.
It has been a while since we last talked about the device, here’s a refresher to help you jog your memory. The mid-range Sony Xperia III comes with a 6-inch 1080p OLED display, featuring the series’ signature 21:9 aspect ratio. Under its hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 chipset, paired together with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Keeping the phone juiced is a 4,500mAh battery with 30W fast charging support via USB-C.
Equipped on its back is a triple camera main array, which comprises a 12MP main shooter and two 8MP sensors for its telephoto and ultra-wide angle. Meanwhile, housed within a thin bezel above its display is an 8MP front-facing camera.
Other noteworthy features include the Xperia 10 III’s IP65/68 rating for water and dust resistance, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a dual-sim tray with external storage support. And in case you want to use wired headphones instead of the Sony WI-C310, the handset also comes with a 3.5mm jack.
Those interested can pre-order the new Xperia 10 III via Sony Malaysia’s official website (link below). As mentioned earlier, the free WI-C310 wireless in-ear headphones are only limited to bookings placed starting today until 20 September, provided that stocks last. Other free gifts also include a free phone case and screen protector.
