DJI has recently introduced a new colour variation for its Pocket 2 gimbal-equipped portable camera. Joining the black colour scheme that was originally launched in November last year is the brand new Sunset White option, which is now available for purchase in Malaysia.
As a quick recap, the DJI Pocket 2 comes with a 1/1.7-inch sensor which enables it to capture 64MP photos and record videos at up to 4K resolution at 60 fps. It also supports 8x zoom for 64MP stills, 4x lossless zoom for 1080p videos, up to 8x slow motion at 1080p, and HDR video recording.
The camera is the first to feature modular control support, enabling users to swap between several available physical interfaces such as the Mini Control Stick attachment. Other than that, the Pocket 2 is also equipped with the new DJI Matrix Stereo system, which consists of four onboard microphones.
For features, the portable camera comes with 3-axis stabilisation, ActiveTrack 3.0 autofocusing, as well as subject and face tracking capabilities. Meanwhile on the software side of things, the Pocket 2 comes with a variety of photo and video modes including 3×3 Panorama, Timelapse, Hyperlapse, Motionlapse, AI Editor, Livestream, and Story Mode.
DJI noted that this newly announced model will also include all of the various updates and improvements that were released after the launch of the original. These include enhancements on autofocus, added HDR Video, better tracking, and many others.
As mentioned earlier, you can purchase the DJI Pocket 2 Sunset White starting today via the brand’s official store on Shopee and Lazada. Besides a standalone package that is worth RM1,549, interested buyers may also choose to pick up the new Sunset White combo for RM1,939. This consists of the Pocket 2, Mini Control Stick, grip cover, a Do-It-All handle, smartphone adapters, power cable, wrist strap, and a sling strap bag.
