myTukar Launches Retail Centres At Shopping Malls, Revamps Website

Used car e-commerce platform myTukar has opened physical retail centres at major shopping malls as part of what it’s calling the first phase of its brand new used car purchasing experience. In conjunction with this, the company also has revamped its retail website, integrating e-commerce features with an emphasis on transparency.

If you’re curious, the new retail centres are located at Paradigm Mall, Petaling Jaya; One Utama, Petaling Jaya; and MyTOWN Shopping Centre, Kuala Lumpur. Visitors can have a 360 degree view of the cars available for sale via HD touchscreen monitors on provided kiosks.

But the physical nature of these retail centres provides even more benefits. People can trade in and have their used cars inspected while taking cars out for a test drive. The whole idea is that all these can get done while a family enjoys the conveniences and facilities of a shopping mall.

myTukar claims that every new car sold through the platform comes with a five-day money-back guarantee plus a one-year warranty and quality assurance seal from myTukar. Cars sold through myTukar apparently go through three rounds of Quality Control checks and a 123 point inspection.

As of late, the e-commerce platform has been aggressively entering partnerships. Last month, it announced it was handling trade-ins for EON and Mitsubishi Motors’ online showroom.
