We’re now exactly a month after the last time Sony Malaysia announced its third batch of PS5 pre-orders. The company has announced that it’s taking the fourth batch tonight. Well, technically tomorrow morning, since it only starts at 12:01AM.
Most of the rules and conditions from the last one applies here still. This includes the only one accessory or peripheral per console rule. WhatsApp-to-Buy is still off the table for this round of the PS5 pre-orders.
You can still try to place your PS5 pre-orders online via the official Sony Malaysia Store on Lazada. But this time, the company’s Facebook post also mentions that its physical stores and authorised dealers are also taking walk-in pre-orders.
As with the previous batches, you should probably expect stocks to be very limited. But at the very least, Sony Malaysia is not shutting off the option to go for walk-in pre-orders. So if you have no luck fighting off bots, or each other, online, there’s still the possibility of obtaining a PS5 if you’re willing to queue up at unearthly hours.
If you need a reminder, the price of the standard console is RM2299, while the digital edition will cost RM1849. All the best for those who intend to get one for themselves.
