airasia food Looks To Expand Aggressively Outside Klang Valley

airasia food is looking for delivery partners to join its Teleport team as it seeks to expand aggressively outside the Klang Valley. Cities that might see airasia food soon include Ipoh, Seremban, Johor Bahru, Penang, Kota Bharu, Kuching and Miri. Teleport delivers for airasia food, and it’s asking anyone who owns a motorbike or car to join.

“In a short period of time, we have successfully grown our small delivery team to approximately 1,500 in Malaysia. Due to the latest reinstatement of the MCO, our orders are up by 4 times our usual average and the numbers are rising, especially with our Unlimited Free Delivery offer,” said Teleport CEO Pete Chareonwongsak.

Teleport has been a work avenue for many former AirAsia flight crew and support members laid off because of the ongoing pandemic. As the logistics arm of airasia digital, it also functions as a general delivery service across Southeast Asia.

During this MCO period, airasia food is offering unlimited free delivery for orders within Klang Valley with a delivery radius of 15km from the outlet. It now boasts a total of 1,100 food merchants – popular ones include airasia’s very own Santan, Pasta Panas, Flour, Kubis & Kale, Tony Roma’s, Sepiring, and Din Tai Fung.

To facilitate its expansion into the seven cities mentioned above, Teleport is launching its Community Entrepreneur Programme in February 2021 – a programme catered for enterprising individuals to grow Teleport’s delivery service in those cities. Those interested can apply at teleport.asia/TheNextTony by 29 January 2021.

They can also sign up as a delivery partner at teleport.asia/deliverypartner
