You may not be familiar with the name Television Broadcasts Limited but you most likely have heard of its abbreviation, TVB. Founded in 1967, the Hong Kong-based broadcaster is known and watched all over the world, predominantly for its long-line of Chinese drama series.

In Malaysia, the majority of TVB contents are being broadcast through Astro but that doesn’t stop the company from offering its own streaming service called TVBAnywhere+ here in Malaysia. In fact, the service’s free zone was actually already available back in June but it is only earlier this month that TVBAnywhere+ begins to offer the paid tier which is called Lite VOD plan.

As opposed to the free zone, the Lite VOD plan not only allows access to premium contents but also enable subscribers to watch them on compatible Android-based smart TVs and TV boxes via TVBAnywhere+ Android TV app. Additionally, Lite VOD subscribers are also able to watch TVBAnywhere+ contents on two different screens simultaneously.

In conjunction with its launch in Malaysia, TVBAnywhere+ is now offering 6 months free subscription to the Lite VOD plan as long as they signed up for it before 31 December 2020. Normally, the plan costs RM 4.90 per month and it doesn’t come with a contract which means you can cancel it at any given time.

In addition to Android smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, and TV box, the TVBAnywhere+ is also accessible via iPhone and iPad as well as Huawei devices. To learn more about the service, check out its official website right here.
