Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Update Will Finally Allow PC Players To Uninstall Specific Modes

Last week, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare PC made the news for being too large for a 250GB SSD. And it seems that was what it took for a major change to be made. The game is finally getting an update that allows players to uninstall unwanted parts of the game.

The game’s producer Paul Haile said on Twitter that its 1.28 update will finally allow PC players to uninstall specific modes. He did not say what else the update will contain. But VGC reports that the update itself will be pretty hefty, coming it an 10GB on the PS4.

Haile apologised earlier in the year for the size of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare updates. But he also claimed that a couple of times that the updates will actually reduce the overall size of the game. But that doesn’t appear to be the case at all. After all, the case of the game not fitting into a 250GB SSD is a relatively recent one.

But hopefully with this update, some of the woes of the game on PC will be alleviated. For those who have owned Call of Duty Modern Warfare for a long time, they at least have the option to uninstall the Campaign mode. It’s the mode with the least replayability, after all.
