Digi today announced that its fibre broadband service can now be obtained throughout Malaysia. Covering 3.7 million households across the country, the telco has also unveiled two additional Digi Internet Freedom (DIF) fibre plans which have now joined the three existing offerings that it had launched back in July.

One of them, the DIF 90 has actually been offered before though in the form of Digi Home Fibre (DHF) 50Mbps. As you might be able to guess, DIF 90 still provides 50Mbps download speed and 20Mbps upload speed although it is now priced slightly lower than the original DHF plan at RM 90 per month.

The full Digi Internet Freedom fibre plan line-up, as of today.

On another hand, the DIF 270 is an all-new plan which provides 800Mbps download speed and 200Mbps upload speed for RM 270 per month. Customers that choose this plan are also eligible to obtain up to four Digi Postpaid Unlimited plans for RM 60 each which will also allow them to obtain free Viu subscriptions for 2 years.

As per most home fibre services out there, the DIF plan comes with a 24-month contract. So, do read through and understand the plan’s terms and conditions on Digi’s official website before you commit to any of its home broadband offerings.
