The Dell XPS 13 and XPS 13 2-in-1 were some of the first Tiger Lake-based laptops that Intel has teased during the official unveiling of 11th Gen Intel Core processors last month. Come this October, these laptops will be making its debut in Malaysia.
However, the differences between the new models and their predecessors are not in the form of their designs or functionalities but mainly revolves around their internal parts. In addition to having the 11th Gen Intel Core processor, they also feature a slightly faster memory module with LPDDR4x-4267 RAM.
While the full hardware options for our market have not yet been revealed by Dell, the company stated that the starting specs for the Tiger Lake-based XPS 13 and XPS 13 2-in-1 in Malaysia include Intel Core i5-1135G7 4-core 8-threads processor with integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics. Both models also feature 8GB of RAM as their starting point.
In terms of storage configuration, the XPS 13 will begin from 512GB solid state drive but the XPS 13 2-in-1 configuration starts at 256GB though. Pricewise, Dell stated that the Tiger Lake-based XPS 13 will be priced from RM 6,399 onwards while the XPS 13 2-in-1 will start from RM 5,999 when they are made available in Malaysia sometime this October.
