Alongside a refreshed user interface, LinkedIn has recently launched a new feature called LinkedIn Stories for selected markets with the intention of making it available globally in stages. As per its name, the new feature is identical in nature to the Stories function that can be found in other social network platforms including as Snapchat, Instagram, and Facebook.

LinkedIn’s version of Stories allows users to take a photo, add customisable texts and even add GIF’s which can be published on a user’s profile. Similar to other social platforms, LinkedIn Stories will only last up to 24 hours before it expires.

In addition to that, users have also been provided with an option to control their story visibility and choose who will be able to view their stories. LinkedIn has also conveniently placed their Stories feature at the top of a user’s main profile feed.

Aside from users’ profile, Stories will also be made available to LinkedIn Pages as well. For now, LinkedIn Stories are already available for users in the United States and Canada as well as France, Australia, Brazil, Netherlands, and the UAE with more countries to be added into the list shortly.
