Known for its high-quality thermal compound, Thermal Grizzly is not a foreign name among PC hardware enthusiasts. The German company has recently launched a new compound called Kryonaut Extreme earlier this year which have finally made its way into Malaysia.
The Kryonaut Extreme is the highest-end offering from the company to date and is generally designed for overclockers that utilize extremely low-temperature cooling setup for their machines especially those that involved liquid nitrogen.
Hence, it can operate at a very wide range of operating temperature from -250 to 350 Celcius with a very low risk of cracking. According to Thermal Grizzly, one of the main secrets behind the Kryonaut Extreme high-performance nature is the addition of aluminium-oxide nanoparticles within the compound.
Pricewise, the Kryonaut Extreme doesn’t come cheap though as the thermal compound is priced at RM 459 in Malaysia even though it comes in a tiny 9ml bottle.
