Maybank Grab Mastercard Platinum Credit Card Unveiled 3
Share on WhatsappShare on TelegramThreads

Maybank, Grab and Mastercard have officially unveiled a new credit card that will enable users to earn GrabRewards points, as well as access to special promotions and discounts. The new card, aptly named Maybank Grab Mastercard Platinum Credit Card, will officially launch tomorrow on 18 August 2020 and is available in either black or white colours.

First and foremost, it is worth pointing out that this card is not to be confused with the highly anticipated GrabPay Card that launched in the Philippines earlier this year. Grab’s first party card is directly linked to the service’s application, which also handles user transactions. While it was previously reported that Grab Malaysia has shown interest in debuting the card locally, it is still not known if it is still proceeding with the idea.

Maybank Grab Mastercard Platinum Credit Card UnveiledThe newly introduced Maybank Grab Mastercard Platinum Card functions similarly to the Maybank Shopee Credit Card that debuted back in June. Like the latter, the card enables users to earn points on Grab’s loyalty program – along with added benefits such as earning 5x GrabRewards points for every RM1 transaction, RM50 worth of Grab Vouchers for a minimum spend of RM300 on Grab services, and much more. The company will also reward new card users with 1,000 GrabRewards points upon successful activation.

Users who are interested to apply for the credit card can visit Maybank’s official website via the link below. More information such as eligibility for application, Frequently Asked Questions, and the complete list of card holder benefits can be found on the website.
