In light of the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, it’s no surprise that many brands and tech giants have either postponed their annual events or just outright cancelled them. In the case of Computex 2020, its organisers have decided to push back the event to September this year.
The event, which is held annually and usually in the month of June, has now been rescheduled to the end of September. Specifically, from 28 to 30 September.
As per its official statement:
“To continue to service exhibitors and visitors around the world while taking into account the health and safety of all participants, COMPUTEX is rescheduled to September 28-30, at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 2 (TaiNEX 2) and will present 5G and communication, smart solutions, gaming, and InnoVEX (startups).”
At the time of writing, the number of COVID-19 cases around the currently sits at 395,532 cases, with 17,229 deaths. Malaysia alone currently has 1624 cases, with 15 confirmed deaths. The good news is that we’ve also had 183 successful recoveries.
