The Apple Powerbeats4 were leaked last week, and even appeared in SIRIM’s database. It has since been officially released as the Powerbeats, dropping the number from its name.

Much of what has been leaked before ended up being accurate after all. It makes use of Apple’s H1 chip, which gives it Siri support. Battery life is rated at 15 hours, just as the leaks suggested.

On the now official product page, the Powerbeats also features sweat and water resistance. While this is expected from headphones made for working out, no IP rating was given. But this makes it quite similar to the Powerbeats Pro, besides the neckband cable and battery life.

The Powerbeats charges using Apple’s proprietary Lightning cable, which is included in the box. Other items you get include a carrying case and four different sizes for the eartips.

As for its price, the Apple Powerbeats come with a price tag of US$149.95 (~RM654). Despite having a price, it’s still listed as “unavailable”. And while we don’t know when it will be available on local shelves, we know it will definitely show up at some point. After all, it’s already in the SIRIM database.
