Lazada has confirmed with us that it is still business as usual over at its warehouses and offices. We reached out to the online retailer to find out how the Restricted Movement Order (RMO) issued by the Malaysian government would affect them, to which it said that it will still be operating, albeit with more stringent health and safety measures being taken.
“Lazada is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our customers. We are taking necessary measures issued by the Malaysian Government for the COVID-19 public health situation,” said the response by Lazada Malaysia’s spokesperson.
Now, while some of you are undoubtedly elated that you can still make purchases via the online retailer, you should also expect your deliveries to experience some delays. Due to the ongoing pandemic, which is perfectly understandable. “While the movement of goods is not restricted, we expect our warehouse and delivery operations to experience delays due to the situation.”
To that end, we do recommend that you be patient with the Lazada during this tumultuous period. Especially since it affects all as a society.
