Nubia CEO Ni Fei has been actively hyping up the company’s upcoming Red Magic 5G smartphone these few weeks. In a recent Weibo post, Fei has shared a photo showcasing the phone’s 80W fast charging capability.
The image shows Red Magic 5G’s detailed charging log which indicates a current of 9.6 amps with a voltage of 8.4 equating to a power flow of 80W. However, Fei did not specify the handset’s charging speed or provide any further other details in his post.
The current holder of having the fastest charging speed is the OPPO Reno Ace, which features the company’s 65W SuperVOOC technology. The upcoming OPPO Find X2 is rumoured to also feature the same fast charging feature.
