High performance custom laptop maker ILLEGEAR enters the new year with the unveiling of the IONIC ultrabook. The new laptop is designed for creators and packs significant performance for creative work such as image and video editing, among others.
The IONIC features a magnesium alloy body with protective coating that weighs 1.45kg and measures at 15mm thin. It sports a 15.6-inch INFINIVISION display with ultra-thin bezels, as well as the company’s iRIS SRGB 100% technology which provides a diverse colour gamut, better brightness and enhanced contrast.
Under the hood, powering the ILLEGEAR IONIC is a 10th Generation Intel Core i7-10510U processor which can be paired with DDR4 RAM of up to 16GB, and is able to support two M.2 PCIe SSD slots for internal storage. The ultrabook runs on a massive 92Wh battery which allows it last for an extended amount of time without being plugged in.
The IONIC features an NVIDIA GeForce MX250 2GB GDDR5 for graphics acceleration, and is equipped with Sound Blaster Cinema 5 speakers for an immersive audio experience. Other features include Intel/Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX capability, and an ultra-tactile keyboard with white back-light.
