Originally introduced at the first part of next@acer event back in April at New York before being expanded further at the second part of the event in Berlin two months ago, Acer ConceptD series has finally made its official debut in Malaysia. Among of the devices that were unveiled at its Malaysian today includes several laptops with a variety of size, form factor, and specs.

For those who are not familiar with the series, the ConceptD devices are meant for creators and professionals. While they might be adopted from Acer’s existing devices, there are a number of differences that set them apart from their consumer-oriented counterpart including Pantone-certified display with a higher level of colour accuracy and resolution as well as quieter thermals.

Acer ConceptD 9 Pro.

Leading the line-up is the ConceptD 9 Pro which is essentially a creator-oriented variant of the company’s Predator Triton 900 convertible gaming laptop. With a base price of RM 18,999, it comes standard with Intel Core i7-9750H, NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 16GB graphics, 32GB DDR4-2666 RAM, 1TB PCIe, and 17.3-inch 4K IPS touch display that has Delta E < 1 rating.

Acer ConceptD 7 Pro.

The second product in the list is the ConceptD 7 models which can be obtained with up to Intel Core-i7 9750H, 16GB DDR4-2666 RAM, 512GB PCIe SSD and 15.6-inch 4K UHD IPS monitor with Delta E < 2 rating. The Pro variant of this model comes with up to NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 16GB graphics and starting price of RM 8,699 while the non-Pro variant which goes for RM 9,999 is equipped with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 6GB graphics.

Acer ConceptD 5 Pro.

Further down the line is the ConceptD 5 Pro laptops which is also equipped with Intel Core i7-950H as per its two higher-end siblings. Both of the 17.3 and 15.6-inch ConceptD 5 Pro variants also come standard with 4K UHD IPS display that has Delta E < 2 rating alongside 16GB DDR4-2666, and 512GB PCIe SSD. With a starting price of RM 6,999, the ConceptD 5 Pro can be obtained with up to NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000 6GB graphics.

Acer ConceptD 3 Pro.

Also available in Malaysia is the series entry-level model, the ConceptD 3. For our market, only the Pro model is available at the moment for RM 5,999 which carries a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display with Delta E < 3 rating alongside Intel Core i7-9750H, 16GB DDR4-2666, 512GB PCIe SSD, and NVIDIA Quadro T1000 4GB graphics.

In terms of availability, the non-Pro ConceptD 7 laptop can be obtained immediately at all Acer Concept Stores together with Acer Malaysia’s own online store as well as Acer’s official online stores at Lazada, Shopee, and Clickasia.

However, the rest of the ConceptD laptops mentioned above can be customized and are built-to-order, hence they can only be obtained directly from Acer Malaysia by emailing ama.marcom@acer.com.
