Around a month ago, we received official words from Sony that it is going to release the Xperia 5 in Malaysia. True to its promises, the company earlier today has revealed more details regarding the arrival of the phone in our market.
First unveiled at IFA 2019 in Berlin, the Xperia 5 will be made available in Malaysia starting from 1 November onwards. According to Sony, the phone can be obtained at its flagship Sony Stores Suria KLCC and The Curve as well as Sony Store Online and selected Sony Centres throughout the country.
Pricewise, the Xperia 5 will go into the market with a price tag of RM 3,399. In conjunction with the launch of the phone in Malaysia, Sony Sony is also offering a free WH-H900N h.ear on 2 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones to early-bird customers.
Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, the IPS 65/68-certified phone also comes standard with a 6.1-inch 21:9 Full HD+ OLED display. The Xperia 5 also features 6GB RAM, 128GB UFS-based memory, triple 12MP rear camera, 8MP selfie camera, and 3140mAh battery.
