About a month ago, gaming smartphone brand Black Shark announced the Black Shark 2 Pro. It was quite the surprising announcement, considering the Black Shark 2 only made its way to Malaysia earlier in April. Now, the Pro variant has made its way to our shores, as previously teased.

To quickly recap, the Black Shark 2 Pro comes with a 6.39-inch 60Hz AMOLED display, and its 240Hz touch report rate. It’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus. It also happens to be the first phone armed with the chipset in Malaysia. Also in the phone is a 4000mAh battery, which is the same capacity as the base Black Shark 2.

In terms of its camera, it comes with a 48MP + 13MP dual camera setup at the back. Speaking of which the outer shell of the phone has also been given a slight rework. This is to allow for a better grip when gaming.

The Black Shark 2 Pro comes in two configurations. The first one with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is priced at RM2499. Then there’s the configuration with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, which is priced at RM2999.
