OnePlus Android TV May Be Available In Multiple Sizes

Back in September last year, OnePlus announced that it was working on its very own Smart TV, with a potential promise of 5G and AI integration built into the home entertainment product. Now, new information leads us to believe that the Shenzhen-based brand will be launching not one, but multiple Android TVs.

The information was discovered by MySmartPrice, who was digging into the Bluetooth SIG licensing page. While there, it had discovered multiple entries from the OnePlus brands. Labeled simply as “1+ LED TV”. On top of that, the model names of each entry seem to suggest that OnePlus’ TVs will range in sizes between 43-inches and 75-inches. The latter obviously being the largest of the lot.

Another interesting point to note is that considering that the TVs are already being listed at Bluetooth SIG, it’s more or less a confirmation that the new OnePlus TVs are coming with Bluetooth 5 support and connectivity.

At this point, there still a few questions about OnePlus’ Android TV. The first is availability; it’s painfully obvious that the OnePlus Android TV will up against fierce competition on the international market, which could mean that the TV will see circulation in China in the initial stages. In relation to that point, the brands also yet to announce the official pricing for its TVs.

That said, it would be interesting to see how OnePlus will handle the distribution and marketing of its TVs upon availability.
